British hard rock veterans Weapon brought classic metal energy to Stockholm when they hit the stage at Encore on May 14th, 2026, for a special release show celebrating their new single “Ain’t No Preacher.” The intimate venue in Sundbyberg was packed with rock fans ready for a night of heavy riffs, old-school attitude, and loud celebration.

The concert marked the beginning of the campaign for Weapon’s upcoming album Strength & Honour. Frontman Danny Hynes described the song as especially meaningful, as the lyrics were originally co-written in the 1980s with former bassist Baz Downes. The performance carried both nostalgia and tribute, connecting the band’s history with its current lineup and renewed momentum.

Supporting acts Carpet Dime and Headrush warmed up the Stockholm crowd with modern Scandinavian hard rock and grunge-inspired metal before Weapon delivered a powerful headline set filled with driving guitars, soaring vocals, and classic British metal spirit.

Encore has become an important stop for touring rock and metal bands visiting Stockholm, and the Weapon show proved once again that smaller club stages can still deliver arena-sized atmosphere. Fans left the venue with ringing ears, raised fists, and high anticipation for the band’s forthcoming album release.
